About Angela

Her Vision

In August 2021, the Glory Health & Wellness vision was birthed in honor of her late parents and greatest supporters and inspiration, Robert and Pearlie Mae Dixon. This vision was created to continue education on heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and other diseases plaguing the local community. Some of the programs and services offered by Glory Health & Wellness include sex education and wellness for young ladies, community disease prevention and education, weight loss consultation, the annual "Blessed To Be A Blessing" Christmas giveaway, and the Pearlie Payne Dixon Nursing Scholarship.

The Founder

Dr. Angela Denise Dixon is the founder and CEO of Glory Health & Wellness and author of Glory Health & Wellness – Just Girls Comprehensive Wellness and Sex Education Curriculum. This is a Christian-based curriculum for girls ages 10-17. With over 25 years of experience in the medical field, she is well capable of providing holistic care and community education to all persons, regardless of their age, sex, or ethnicity. She also has a particular passion for women’s health as is exhibited by working in women’s health services since 1997.

Her Passion

With a heart for people and community education, she is an engaging teacher that has done numerous presentations for families, churches, women’s conferences, and other community events. Her warm smile and personality helps her to connect with audiences of all ages!

Her Background

Angela holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing Education and has been in the medical field for over 25+ years, has worked as a Registered Nurse, and is currently a Family Nurse Practitioner in Infectious Disease Care. She is an active member of New Day Covenant Ministries where she leads the Health & Wellness Ministry. Additionally, she is a Certified Etiquette Consultant, and well-equipped to teach effective communication, professionalism, and etiquette protocols for all ages. Her foundational scripture is Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.” She is eternally grateful to God for entrusting her with gifts, talent, and knowledge to educate and inspire others to realize and live their God-given purpose. When she is not working, Angela enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
